Phuket

April 30 – May 3, 1998

We took a little trip up to Phuket for the 3 day holiday weekend
(Labour Day in Singapore) just for a little relaxation. We spent
the whole weekend just laying around the beach and doing a little
wandering through the restaraunts and shops around the beach.
And we rented wave runners and did some para-sailing. Laying on
the beach there is a well designed activity. There are umbrellas
and lounge charis set up on the beach that can be rented by the
day from a Thai people who have their own little strip of beach.
They also sell you cold drinks and beer and other vendors come
along selling fresh fruit, sandwiches, sunglasses, copy-watches
and other stuff. You can also get a Thai massage on the beach
for about US$10 and hour. All in all, a very relaxing trip and
not very expensive at all.

A smooth take-off. See the guy behind her? He goes up with you
and just hangs on to the ropes to control the direction and speed

That’s all. Nice trip
